จากการห่างหายไปเป็นเวลานานมาก ตลอดช่วงที่ผ่านมาก็มีการแสดงเข้ามาอย่างต่อเนื่อง หวังว่าทุกๆ ท่านผู้มีใจรักในดนตรีคลาสสิคจะได้ติดตามไปชมการแสดงอย่างต่อเนื่องนะครับ และในช่วงท้ายเดือนกันยายนนี้ ตลอดจนช่วงปิดเทอมในเดือนตุลาคม ก็ต้องต้อนรับการแสดงในช่วงนี้ โดยทางวิทยาลยดุรยศิลป์ก็มีการแสดงให้ชาวเชียงใหม่ได้ช่นชมอย่างต่อเนื่อง และไม่น่าพลาดด้วยประการทั้งปวงครับ

Sittichai Pengcharoen: Born in 1966 in Thailand. Began to study violin at 8 years old with Dr. Paradee Traiwittayakul and Dr. Pratak Prateeprasen at the Dramatic Art College of Bangkok. Later on he continued to study with Col. Prof. Choochart Pitaksakorn at the Faculty of Music, Chulalongkorn University. Sittichai has made his debut at age 20 in his performance in violin concerto No. 2 in D minor by Wieniawski with Chulalongkorn University Symphony Orchestra. After early success his great talent has brought him to various solo performances with most notable Symphony Orchestras in Thailand. Sittichai has also been playing chamber music throughout Thailand. He was granted many scholarships to study oversea in Europe with the leading violinists namely: Rudolf Werthen and Henri Raudales at the Conservatory of Ghent in Belgium, Christoph Poppen and Ulf Wallin at the Detmold Music Academy in Germany, special fund student of Erick Friedman at Yale University. Moreover, he had the opportunity to enter master classes with the world leading violinists such as Yuri Marzukevid, Cyrus Forough, Takeshi Kubayashi, Clarence Mayerschough and Linda Rosenthal. He also took part in musical activities as the concertmaster of Thai Youth Symphony Orchestra, Ibycus Chamber Orchestra, Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and as a member of The World Philharmonic Orchestra and Waterbury Symphony Orchestra as well as Philharmonic of Yale University in the U.S.A. Sittichai has performed extensively throughout Thailand and appeared on many occasions as soloist in The Royal Command Concerts including The Thai Red Cross Society charity concert. He taught violin lessons at the College of Music, Mahidol University, Chulalongkorn University for many years. Presently,he is the concertmaster of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO).

Eri Nakagawa, a native of Japan, earned her Doctor of Arts degree in piano performance from Ball State University, Indiana, USA. She also attended Osaka Kyoiku University and Mukogawa Women's University in Japan. She studied with Koji Tanaka, Naoyuki Inoue, Michel Bourgeot, John Kozar, Pia Sebastiani and Mitchell Andrews. Eri Nakagawa has received numerous prizes and awards such as the second prizewinner in the Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra Young Artist's Competition and the winner of Ball State Graduate Concerto Competition as well as the recipient of BSU New Faculty Creative Arts Award. She has appeared as a soloist with orchestras such as Manchester Symphony Orchestra, Osaka Mozart Ensemble, Nusantara Symphony Orchestra, Budapest Chamber Symphony and Thuringen Gotha-Suhl Philharmonie. She has also been active as a chamber pianist and accompanist. Eri Nakagawa has been on the faculty of College of Music, Mahidol University in Thailand since 1995. She is currently Assistant Professor and Head of the Piano Department. Her previous teaching positions include Assistant Professor of music performance at Ball State University.
